At a press conference in San Salvador on 15 April 2015 it was announced that the beatification of Oscar Romero is to be streamed live on the Internet by El Salvador’s Catholic TV at tvcaelsalvador.org.
It is expected that over 260,000 people will attend the celebration taking place on 23 May 2015 at 10am local time (5pm in the UK) in the Plaza Divino Salvador del Mundo in San Salvador.
